2C-B-FLY: Is It The Best Psychedelic For Arousal & Sexual Intimacy?

The visual effects of mescaline are stronger, but both compounds have similar benefits in terms of maintaining functional cognition while high. LSD, magic mushrooms, and other psychedelics don’t often share this same sentiment. Psychoactive doses make it very difficult to perform normal activities, let alone interact with other people. There are some user reports of people taking much larger doses — closer to 40 mg — but this is only recommended if you have a lot of experience with this psychedelic. The main problem encountered when taking too much 2C-B-FLY is overheating and dehydration.

Being in a good state of mind, with trusted friends and a safe environment before taking 2C-B reduces the risk of having a ‘bad’ trip. The threshold is reported around 5 mg, and the standard psychoactive dose is between 10 and 25 mg. You can also find dihydrodifuranated (FLY) analogs of 2C-C (2C-C-FLY), 2C-I (2C-I-FLY), 2C-D (2C-D-FLY), DOB-FLY (bromo-dragonFLY), TFM-FLY, and many others. However, none of these other FLY compounds are as popular in the research chemical space as 2C-B-FLY. 2C-B-FLY contains a 2C-B molecule at its core with two dihydrofuran rings attached to the central benzene ring. FLY compounds are aptly named for the insect-like appearance of their chemical structure. As with every hallucinogen, there’s an undercurrent of paranoia to some 2C-B trips that can leave the user feeling at odds with their surroundings. At one point, Mo stops dancing and puts his soaking-wet T-shirt back on, before looking around confused. What Does 2C-B Feel Like?

Due to the lack of formal research about the use and effects of 2C-B, some of the information provided below is based on anecdotal user reports. Compared to other 2C-x drugs, 2C-B is the second most potent agonist of serotonin receptors only to 2C-I. It also has a stronger body load and maintains more of a normal “headspace” than 2C-B — especially in higher doses. Even subtle changes in the dose with 2C-B can change the experience from euphoric and empathogenic to powerfully psychedelic and dissociative. 2C-B is the closest psychedelic in terms of both the chemical structure and the effect profile to 2C-B-FLY.

What does 2c-b feel like?

2C-B is part of the 2C family of psychedelic phenethylamines, many of which were originally synthesised by Alexander Shulgin. However, the effects of each 2C drug will vary and education of the differences is recommended before consumption of other 2C drugs. ‘Set’ refers to a person’s mind-set including their mood, thoughts and expectations. This can have a significant effect on the experience of the trip and therefore it is advised that 2C-B is only consumed when a person is in a positive and stable state of mind.

Taking some electrolytes or magnesium before you go to bed can go a long way as well. You should also always test a sample of your 2C-B using a reagent test liquid before you use it. The higher you go over the 15 mg dose, the more likely you are to experience challenging or uncomfortable experiences.
